Maps aren’t an unfair advantage, especially when they’re available for free for anybody who wants to use them.
All I want is for people to stop making assumptions about what Amazon WILL decide and make logically consistent arguments. “No comment” is not the same as “don’t use this or you will be banned.” Regardless of what one guy from customer service claims the official stance is, the only actual statement Amazon has made, which has been linked several times here, is “we are currently talking with Overwolf about how they will use the API we made for them in the future.”Īssuming that the lack of something in the game is an intentional design choice is just as much of a stretch as the idea that everything in the game is working as intended.
The addon does not grab button that do not have a name. We’ve been arguing that they aren’t disallowed. This little addon will gather up all of your addon minimap buttons and put them into a movable frame. Gunstl (and I) haven’t been arguing that these types of addons are allowed.
Amazon also built the API and is literally in the process of regulating addons as we speak, which IS the beginning.
